Superior Shingles & Wood Products (SSWP) in Guyana, South America is the manufacturer of Turada^® Wallaba Shingles. The company's modern shingle plant assures production that meets the highest standards of quality in the industry. This state-of-the-art facility has been in operation since 2001 and has the capacity to produce approximately 200,000 square feet of shingles per month.

SSWP has a team of approximately 50 employees who are skilled in various positions from production to management. Our supply chain process also provides indirect employment to approximately 100 indigenous workers stretching geographically from the factory to the forest.

The production of Turada Wallaba shingles contributes to sustainable livelihoods in Guyana, as Wallaba blocks are purchased from a wide range of small and medium scale suppliers using environmentally-friendly logging methods.
